The Wayne Fisher Jazz Program at Baylor University

The Wayne Fisher Jazz Program at Baylor University features two big bands, the Baylor Jazz Ensemble and the Concert Jazz Ensemble, and provides students with the opportunity to play and perform music from a wide range of styles and musical eras, from the classic selections of the Swing Era to the cutting-edge big band compositions of today. These ensembles perform several times throughout the academic year both on and off campus.

Wayne Fisher is the benefactor for whom the Jazz Program in the School of Music at Baylor University is named. He serves as a Regent for Baylor where he received the BBA and LLB degrees. Mr. Fisher is the Founder and Senior Partner with the Fisher, Boyd, Johnson & Huguenard Law Firm in Houston, Texas.
