Mountain Light Charitable Contribution - Select your level
Music. Adventure. Mentorship. Purpose.
At the Mountain Light Music Festival, we’ve traded concert halls for mountain air. We bring musicians of the highest caliber to Pagosa Springs for three weeks of intensive growth and breathtaking performances. But to keep our stage set in the San Juans, we need your help.
Your donation directly fuels every part of our mission—from housing and meals to production costs and student scholarships. Every gift, no matter the size, helps us mentor the artists of tomorrow. Join us and make a difference today.
More than a festival, MLMF is a sanctuary for artistic discovery. In the crisp air of Pagosa Springs, young musicians undergo a profound transformation—moving beyond technical mastery to find their true musical identity. Working side-by-side with industry leaders, these students cultivate a reverence for their craft that they will carry long after they leave these mountains.
We invite you to be a partner in this journey. Whether it’s providing a scholarship for a gifted student or supporting our world-class faculty, your contribution of any size ensures that the next generation of musicians finds their purpose here. Let’s build the future of chamber music together.

Immerse yourself in an unforgettable week of music at the serene Elk Lake Lodge. Legacy donors are invited to savor three exclusive concerts featuring the transcendent notes of Beethoven, Schubert, and more—brought to life by the acclaimed Zetler String Quartet and the luminous piano trio, Trio Magnoliana and a night of opera arias from two incredible artists from the Houston Grand Opera's acclaimed Butler Studio. It is our distinct pleasure to introduce Elizabeth Hanje and Luka Tsedevilze.
Trio Magnoliana is a beloved piano trio from Houston. Formed in 2023 in Houston, Texas, Trio Magnoliana features violinist Mann-Wen Lo, cellist Eunghee Cho, and pianist Andrew Staupe, all accredited concert soloists and faculty members at the University of Houston, and each ensemble member brings a wealth of professional chamber music experience to this riveting new artistic partnership.
The Zelter String Quartet is a distinguished ensemble dedicated to the rich tradition and evolving future of chamber music. Known for our expressive performances and thoughtful interpretations, we bring a deep commitment to musical dialogue, artistic integrity, and collaborative exploration.
From classical masterworks to contemporary compositions, we craft programs that resonate with audiences across concert halls, festivals, and intimate venues alike.

An exclusive chamber music festival located in Pagosa Springs, Colorado featuring musicians of the highest caliber. Based at the Mountain Light Lodge, this week long festival of chamber music seeks to inspire and engage audiences in Pagosa Springs. Students will discover their true musical identity and find purpose in their creative pursuits while working alongside world class faculty.
I sincerely believe that with your help, we can build a world class venue in Pagosa Springs and host a uniquely intimate and inspiring summer-long music festival. Pagosa will be the summer home of world class faculty and students who will live here and perform in our homes, at the Mountain Light Lodge, Keyah Grande, the Springs, and ultimately on a newly built summer stage! Imagine sponsoring a string quartet or a jazz trio, or underwriting a symphony orchestra and top tier soloist, and being a part of this exciting startup here in Pagosa!
We believe in mentoring students and building community at Mountain Light Music Festival. I have been fortunate to teach many talented young musicians who have gone on to great success. MLMF is unique because our mission is one of spiritual value. Students discover how to place their trust in what is eternal, rather than a position or a title. We play music because we are inspired - not because we want attention. Help me share these truths about performance, art, community, and the gift of music with these wonderful students.
