Culinary creativity

A culinary journey as exquisite as the music itself

Our celebrated chef from Durango, CO, will craft masterful dishes using locally sourced ingredients, infused with creativity and artistic flair. Each meal is thoughtfully designed to harmonize with the theme and nuance of our musical offerings—creating a feast for both palate and soul.

Begin your day with hearty breakfasts, enjoy fresh and flavorful lunches before your outdoor adventures, and indulge in elegant dinners preceding each concert. Expect inspired wine pairings and imaginative culinary artistry.

We are delighted to present Chef Clay Berry at our Legacy Retreat. In addition to creating wonderful meals, he will be offering culinary master classes with hands on cooking instruction of our donors. Learn how to prepare a few specialty meals from our chef and add to your personal culinary repertoire.

Mission

Music, Adventure, Mentorship, and Purpose. Each summer, we bring together professional faculty, world‑class artists, and passionate students to create a community devoted to artistic discovery. Through chamber music, orchestral performance, and collaborative creativity, participants explore their truest musical identity while learning from mentors who value curiosity, authenticity, and expressive depth. At Mountain Light Music Festival, we believe the mountains help reveal who we are as artists—and who we can become.

We are proud to make Pagosa Springs our home, where our stage is a meadow, and the backdrop is the San Juan Mountains.
